A designer needs a variety of tools to study their work. Models and sketches are wonderful tools in assisting said study!

GOLDEN RATIO STUDY

The very first project of my architectural design work. We studied the golden ratio through the use of planes, lines, and color.

Each student was given a concept word at random in which to design and build a model bridge. The word assigned to me was "euphoric."

MIRACULUM SELLA

Every architect in training seems required to design a chair, and that is exactly what we did as well. Miraculum Sella was a team project. My responsibilities consisted of assisting with the overall design of the chair, creating assembly instructions, creating orthographic views of the chair, and physically building the full scale model.
